Understanding Pleat Quantities

The French pleat and Tailored pleat header styles are popular choices among many customers for their timeless elegance. It is a method of hand-sewing pleats on a flat fabric piece to create a luxurious appearance.

How do we determine the number of pleats for a curtain? Please refer to the table below:

Please note: The number of rings you need is equal to the number of pleats (Hooks are included in our packaging)

If you're still unsure, please use this formula: Number of pleats / Number of curtain rings = Panel width / 79 * 7.
(Since our curtain panels require the width before pleating to be entered when ordering, please make sure to use our online measuring tool, as shown in the image below, to get the most accurate panel dimensions before placing your order.)
