How many inches would the rod extend beyond your window frame?
Wider panels will measure approximately 6-15 inches when stacked back, with more space needed for wide windows and doors.
What's the height from window top to floor?
What's the height from rod/track to floor?
For soft top style ( tab top, 4-in-1, grommet,rod pocket, back tab ), the drapery length is measured from top of rod to floor.
For double french pleat and tailored pleat style, the curtain length is measured from rod ring eyelet or track ring eyelet to floor.
At what distance above the window frame would you mount the rod?
We recommend curtain rod to be as high as possible, 2-3 inches below the ceiling. In general, rods should be mounted at least 6-8" above window frame, if you have wall space.
