How to measure for custom curtains?

Curtain Panel Width: Rod: Measure the pole width between finials or end caps. Track: Measure the entire track width. Width of pleat curtain = (Rod/Track Width) ÷ Number of Panels. Curtain Panel Length: For pleat header style: Measure from the rod or track ring eyelet to the floor. For grommet/soft top header style: Measure from the top of the rod to the floor. Or use our built-in measuring tool for exact guidance.

What is the standard fullness of draperies?

For grommet/rod pocket or other soft top header curtains, we usually recommend 2× fullness for an elegant effect. For pinch pleat custom curtains, we default to 2× fullness.

How do I determine the number of pleats/rings per panel?

The number of rings you need is equal to the number of pleats. (Hooks and rings are included in our packaging.) Use this formula to get the quantity: Number of pleats ÷ Number of curtain rings = Panel width you order ÷ 39 * 7. The formula is only used for pleat header style.

For pleated curtains, what is the distance between pleats?

For pinch pleat custom curtains, the distance between the curtain pleats is about 7 inches.

How to determine the number of panels?

For windows wider than 60 inches, choose 2 panels or more. For windows less than 60 inches wide, 1 panel is enough. If you prefer symmetry, opt for 2 panels even for smaller windows.

Do pleat curtains come with plastic clips or hooks?

Yes, all the pleated curtains will come with plastic clips.
